What Is Red Rock Film Festival?

Inaugurated in 2004 and officially named in 2007, Red Rock Film Festival is an international festival that is held each November near Zion National Park in Southern Utah. The event was born out of a student film festival that began in 1991 and quickly grew to the size it is today, attracting over 6,000 attendees and close to 90 filmmakers every year. The mission of the festival is to applaud positive, innovative films of any genre and educated audiences around the world. Film entries are judged for 12 distinct awards and filmmakers of any discipline are encouraged to submit a feature. In recent years, guests of the festival have included past Oscar and Sundance winners such as Graeme Clifford ('œRocky Horror Picture Show')and Gary Graham ('œStar Trek: Enterprise').

Where Is Red Rock Film Festival?

Red Rock Film Festival takes place in Cedar City, UT, each year.
