Exhibits

During the ten-day festival, several art exhibits are held focusing on a range of artistic endeavors. Local and regional artists travel to Escalante to display their unique pieces, including Doug Howland who will host a 60s Rock and Roll Posters exhibit at the Boulder Community Center. One of the most popular exhibits that take places each year is the Quilt Exhibition, which illustrates the craftsmanship of the women who created these pieces and delves into the history of quilting. Other exhibits taking place during the Escalante Canyons Art Festival include GSENM Photographer in Residence Exhibit, Anasazi Dream Exhibit, and Local Art & Artisans: Burr Trail Outpost. Many other art events will be held as well such as the Plein Air competitions, an arts and crafts fair, and more.

Demonstrations

For more hands-on events, you can attend one of the many demonstrations or workshops scheduled throughout the festival.
