Brian Head, Duck Creek and Panguitch have many fishing ponds, scenic mountain lakes and quiet creeks to enjoy a fishing adventure during your stay with us. Rent a kayak and go in search of a trophy rainbow trout or head out onto the lake on a pirate boat for a fun family fishing day.

Enjoy a scenic trail ride on horseback through the Dixie Mountain Forest or around the scenic lake waters. Brian Head Resort does not offer horseriding but there are local outfitters with a range of trail rides for all ages.

Utah is home to some of the largest and steepest sandstone walls and many of the highest rated rock climbing challenges in the world. From the steep verticals of Zion to the many rock climbing routes around St George, it`s an exhilarating experience, but we do suggest a guide!

Everywhere you drive in Southwestern Utah is scenic with lush evergreens, towering red rock spires, deep slot canyons and awe-inspiring natural wonders at every turn. Taking a scenic drive is a safe way to soak up Southwestern Utah`s finest mountain treasures.

Spend the summer months hiking and biking the many miles of mountainous trails throughout the town and surrounding area. Discover centuries old lava tubes at Mammoth Caves or breathtaking views all the way to Nevada and Arizona from Brian Head Peak. Mountain Bikers have miles of thrilling downhill trails to enjoy in the seclusion of the surrounding parks.

Ziplining is always a firm favorite when it comes to family fun and activities! Brian Head Resort has a mini zipline for the little family members to harness up and have some fun.
