With 5 bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms, two levels of living space, a sunroom/game room, expansive decks, soaring windows, and a large wood-burning fireplace, this cabin combines classic mountain character with the space and conveniences that make group getaways comfortable.
Whether your plans include snowmobiling and skiing, summer ATV adventures, fishing at nearby lakes, exploring Southern Utah’s national parks, or simply spending time together at the cabin, The Lava Lodge makes a great year-round home base.
THE SPACE
The heart of the cabin is the spacious great room, where vaulted wood ceilings, tall windows, comfortable seating, and a large stone fireplace create an inviting place for everyone to come together.
After a day outdoors, settle in around the wood-burning fireplace, enjoy a movie, break out the board games, or relax and take in the mountain setting.
Large decks extend the living space outdoors, giving your group plenty of room to enjoy the fresh mountain air.
SUNROOM & GAME ROOM
The sunroom is available for guest use and adds another fun gathering space to the cabin. The room includes a multi-game table with ping pong, air hockey, and other games, giving kids and adults an indoor activity space when everyone is ready for a break from the trails or slopes.
It’s an especially nice bonus for family trips and group stays when you want plenty of options for spending time together without leaving the cabin.
KITCHEN & DINING
The kitchen is set up for preparing meals for a group and opens into the main gathering areas, making it easy to cook without missing out on time together.

IMPORTANT WINTER TRAVEL & ACCESS
Duck Creek Village is a mountain community where snow and icy road conditions are common during the winter season. A four-wheel-drive (4WD) or all-wheel-drive (AWD) vehicle is necessary for winter travel and accessing the property. Depending on current conditions, tire chains may also be necessary.
Mountain weather and road conditions can change quickly. Guests are responsible for checking the forecast and current road conditions before traveling and should arrive prepared for snow, ice, and winter mountain driving.
