Hiking
Spend the summer months hiking the many miles of mountainous trails throughout the town and surrounding area. You can make the trek to Mammoth Caves and discover centuries-old lava tubes, or make your way to the top of Brian Head Peak for a breathtaking view of the town below. From this point, you can see Nevada and Arizona on the horizon. If you’re not much of a hiker but would still like to take in the view, you can take a scenic ride on the chairlift to the charming gazebo built on the peak.

For avid bikers, Brian Head is the perfect place to visit with dozens of bike trails. Whether you like the thrill of downhill biking or you’re interested in street riding, there are plenty of spots for you. You can check out Utah’s Goblin Valley State Park with five loops that take riders through secluded areas of the park.
